Where to find our direct beach access holiday parks?

Listed below are some of our top campsites in France with beach access, both coastal beaches and beaches that are next to lakes. These holiday parks close to beaches are located all over France, from Brittany, down the west coast in the Loire Atlantique, to the south west coast south of Bordeaux and then across to the Mediterranean sea in the Languedoc area. So, depending on how far you wish to travel and what kind of temperatures you enjoy (warm to very hot!), we will have a campsite with direct beach access to suit you. 

Why choose a holiday with direct beach access?

As mentioned, choosing a holiday with direct beach access is sometimes easier if travelling with younger children who want to avoid going anywhere by car. There's no long walks, bus trips or car drives, you can easily reach the beach from your mobile home accommodation. Spending less time on travel also means more time on the beach for sunbathing, swimming or perhaps a bit of water sports!

There's also the obvious benefit of not having to find car parking at beaches if you need to drive there, although it has to be said that the coast of France, particularly in the west, is a lot easier (and cheaper!) than parts of the UK!

Some of our beachside campsites offer water activities such as surfing, paddle boarding and sailing. La Reserve for example, in south west France, near Bordeaux, is located next to a lake. This stunning holiday park has it's own sailing school on site which is within easy walking distance of your accommodation. 

If snorkelling is your thing, then try the crystal clear waters of south Brittany from our holiday park Le Conguel. Here, you can walk out of your front door of your luxury mobile home and within a few steps you are on a beautiful sandy beach.
